The need for safer inspection methods, especially in confined space and at heights, was a driving force behind the creation of Specialised Drone Services. As marine surveyors and inspectors, we were deeply concerned by the number of seafarers losing their lives during work related inspections in enclosed spaces, working at heights and other high-risk areas. We founded our company to provide safer, more efficient alternatives that protect personnel and prevent such tragedies.

Our team includes AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) Marine Surveyors, Mine Surveyors, NDT Technicians, ROV Pilots, Offshore Oil & Gas Specialists, Commercial Divers and Vessel Operators as well as professionals in Training, Assessing, and Work Health and Safety.

We operate under our CASA (Civil Aviation Authority) ReOC #7390 and comply with all CASA, NOPSEMA, AMSA, WH&S, State and Federal legislation. We are fully insured with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurances.
