SPECIALISED DRONE SERVICES
REMOVING RISK WITH ROBOTICS
Subsea Services
We also offer underwater inspections using our portable ROV. With set up time of 5 mins, 4k video, image stabilisation, 150 meters depth rating, a speed of 3 knots using the 8 thrusters. Whether its a vessel, offshore platform, port facility or even town water storage tanks the Chasing M2 Pro is the quick response ROV of choice.
Confined Space
Ballast Tank Inspections
ROVs are becoming a more common tool for inspecting ballast tanks in ships and offshore structures. The major advantage being eliminating the risk associated with human entry into the confined and hazardous spaces.
Inspections can be completed while the tank is still in a ballast condition. High resolution cameras provide real time information, which facilitates on-site decision making and condition assessments.
The use of robotics for confined space inspections, enhances safety, efficiency, and accuracy in assessing the condition of tanks in vessels and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with reducing risk, regulations, and optimising maintenance strategies.
Ships Hull and Running Gear
Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are commonly used for ship hull inspections, providing a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional diver-based inspections. ROVs are equipped with high resolution cameras and sensors that enable a comprehensive visual assessment of the vessels hull, sea chests, propellor and other underwater components.
Additional sensors such as UT thickness gauges can be mounted for further analysis of the hulls condition.
Wharf & Underwater Asset Inspection
Visual inspections of wharfs, navigation marks, jetties, dam walls, concrete structures and foundations can be carried out without the need for divers, eliminating the safety concerns and access limitations.
